This past weekend, my parents, my kids, my bro. Nate and his fam, we all went to Red Cliffs and Sand Hollow for the day. It was so nice to fianlly be outside in good weather. Its been nice off and on in Cedar but not like down south. We didnt even need jackets. We took the kids for a hike, ate lunch, let them play in the water, then we ended our day in Sand Hollow for some fishing. The kids had such a good time. My kids have been locked up in doors for so long, Im not quite sure they knew how to act at first. It will be good to get our backyard done this summer so they will have some freedom and not fill like convicts locked up inside. Quin wasnt sure about the water. I dont blame her, it was ice cold. She just played in the sand instead. It didnt seem to bother the older three. By the time we left, their fingers and feet were bright red. They had a good time though. Im hopinf we can do it more often. Any mom knows that getting to that point isnt so much fun and is what holds me back from doing more activities. Getting them dressed, packing a bag, finding them something to take to eat, getting them in and out of the car, etc... Its tiring just thinking about it. I like to think its worth it though once your out and doing your thing. You just have to have the main objective in the back of your mind to get you from point A to point Z without completely losing you mind. Anyways, we had a good time as I previously mentioned. Hope to do it more!

Tea anyone?
There are two things about Quin that are a fact. First she loves food, thats obvious. Second, she loves little play kitchens. We've been debating for some time now on when to get her one. We couldnt wait, we just had to get her one. Ive been eyeing down this adorable one at Target for awhile now, so when we were down to see the jazz bear, we made a stop at Target and Ty caved in and said that she sould get it. I was so excited, but not excited to put the thing together. As you can see in the pic below there were a ton of pieces and even more screws and such. I knew Ty would never get around to doing it so i took it upon myself to get r' done. And three hours later, it got finished. It wasnt hard just time consuming. Of course we had to get her dishes and tea cups. She loves it and so do I!
Two Words. . . .JAZZ BEAR!
This monday was a pretty big day in Nixons two year existance. Our little guy loves the Jazz bear! Ty and I found him a little stuffed bear at one of the Jazz games we went to and he takes it every where. He finally got to meet him. The baseball team in St George was doing this big season opener thing where they had free hot dogs, cupcakes, their team mascot, and The jazz Bear. We jumped at the chance to take Nixon. He was so excited. He kept waving to him from the back of the line and just couldnt wait to get his pic taken with him. Quin on the other hand hates stuffed people. Her cry of terror is so sad, but funny at the same time. Its to the point that she turns purple and is on the verge of passing out. Anyways, Nixon had a blast and couldnt stop talking about who he saw. In the pic above, not so sure who the player is, but he looks super familiar. If any one can feel in that blank for me, my mind would be much appreciated and at rest.
