Good times!

So Tyler has been an Cardinals fan forever and we've always talked about trying to go to one of their games in Pheonix, and we finally made it. Ty has actually been to one before this with one of his good friends who happen to have season tickets, but it was fun this time cause we went with my brother Rand and his wife Tracy, then we met my other brother Kade and his wife Maddie down ther(they live in Mesa). It was our first NFL game and not to mention our seats were fourth row in the endzone! It was a very stress free and kid free mini vacation. Just what we needed. We did some shopping, yapping and relaxing. The guys, of course, enjoyed a few rounds of golf. The day we got there we went to Kades seminary class and sat through about a half hour of one of his classes. I love to listen to him teach. He does such an awesome job. We got to hang out with our cute little niece Livi and love on her. I love hanging out with my brothers and im so, so glad they married who they married. We all get along so well and always have so much fun together. We did miss Nate and Candice, and Jeff and his future wife, who ever she is! Were hoping to make many more trips down there with everyone cause there is nothing like good football and great family!

Pee Pee in the potty, pee pee in the potty

Im so proud to announce that are little guy is potty trained. Ill admit that i was terrified to do this but hes done so good and it was not bad at all. It was much easier than ive heard it being. Hopefully when its Quins turn it will be just as easy. Im so proud of him for wearin big boy underoo's!

California!

The end of july we took a vacation to california and went to disneyland, the beach, and a dodgers game. its completely picture overload and they are backwards. The very bottom is of day one and it moves up from there. These pics are of our last day in Califonia adventure which is way better than disneyland. We had a blast and the kids were awesome.

Quiny playing in the water and loving it.
Our little bear. Dont ya just love those eyes?!

Ty and Quiny...she threw up after this one. She had one to many rides in a row.

This is DAY THREE! Im so glad my kids are water babies. They had the best time here. I dont remember what beach this was but it was way nice and and we had so much fun here. The kids were glad to be somewhere they could run around. Later that night we went to downtown disney and got some dinner. I love downtown disney at night. They have live bands and not to mention the weather is perfect that time of day/night.

Nixon and his "serf berd". Not really a surf board but we didnt tell him that.

This is DAY TWO and day one at disneyland. This is actually breakfast with Goofy. You get to meet some of the characters here. They had a good time with this. They were a little hesitant at first with the characters but soon warmed up to em!

Nix got a little bashful here with Snow White.

Tylers sister Reese and Dale.

Waiting to be sat.

Our Dolly Doll...

...and Nixon

She got a little tuckered out at Disneyland. Im so glad she napped there. She usually wont fall asleep anywhere but her bed.

With Grandma PP and grandpa.

Nixon with his weapon of choice...his ferd (sword)

DAY ONE- so when we arrived to cali we got setteled into our "nice" hotel and then we headed for los angeles to watch the dodgers play. to be honest i was quite worried about how our kids would be for this because the previous day was not a good one. they just werent feeling the travels. But to our surprise they did awesome and it was the first of many good days. they did so good and they had so much fun. Our seats were in left field (behind Manny, of course) and it was shaded and no one was sitting in front of us so the kids had all the room in the world to play. it was a blast.....Did i forget to mention that we got lost in LA after the game. we only drove around for an hour lost.

We are huge manny fans... he'll always be a Red Sox in our eyes:-)

July Shinanigans!

This year on the 4th we just did the usual and stuck around cedar. Of course we attended the ever exciting parade and park then after the guys had a golf tourny. It was a pretty good time and the kids had fun.

On the 3rd of July was my nieces birthday so we loaded up and headed to Richfield to have a pool party. There was also a three on three tourny fundraiser that my brother does every year for the basketball program and my hubby, dad, nate, and kade all partook in a little b-ball action. We had so much fun and it was fun to have the entire fam(except for Jeff) together cause it doesnt happen to often.

Better LATER than Never. . . Right?

I dont even know where to begin. Its been so long since ive done this! There are quite a few pics so just scroll down and keep on reading if ya want. First of all, as you can see in the picks we have a little project going on, I like to call it "project backyard". We are so glad that its getting done. Nixon and I would probably end up killing each other by the end of the summer if he didnt have somewhere else to play besides our garage and inside. Hes not an inside type specimen. He loves to be outside. He was so excited for the trucks and excavators to come to our house. As you can see below, him and Quin just watching em' work. They loved it!

Here are just a few pics of Nixon and Quin playing yesterday. I fianlly got my camera working so I got a little carried away with the pics. Here just a preview of what I took of them.

Our big boy. I cant believe hes almost three! Hes turned into quite the little man. Lets just say Nixon has his good days and his not so good days. I just tell myself hes two almost three and they have their moments like us big people do. Hes a busy body and has to be going all the time. He definately keeps me on my toes. Hes been so fun to watch lately too. Hes just growing so fast and I love his stories he tells me and Ty. Ty is his most favorite person in the world. He just loves his dad. Him and Quin, for the most part, play good together. Its nice for me to get a break when they play together. I guess thats one advantage of having them so close!

Playing in the Jeep. Thanks again Robinsons!

I found these pics of Quin and I forgot I had them on my camera. I think theyre so cute of her. And yes shes finally walking. Only for a couple months though. She got it down at about 17 months. I will have to say this one thing about her though, shes not the sweet, quiet baby she used to be. She has turned into quite a sassy little thing. Shes got a big time attitude and doesnt put up with alot especially when you tell her "no". She'll let you have it if you do. Shes so much fun though. I hope she stays this independent and strong willed when she gets older. She can talk pretty good too which Im super impressed with. Shes still our dolly doll and we LOVE her.

We also got Quiny out of her crib. We actually did that awhile ago though. Ty wasnt sure about the process of that. He wanted her to stay a baby for a little bit longer. By having her in a big girl bed that means shes not a baby baby anymore. Ill admit, it was kind of hard for me too but she sleeps so good in it and hasnt fallen out. We took the crib out cause we gave her Nixons full and Nixon got our queen and we got a new queen. There was just to much in her small room. I found her cute pottery barn duvet on ebay and it was such a good deal I couldnt pass it up. That pic above is a rough draft of what her room looks like and the ones below are her and Nixon in her crib and her room before the big girl bed. O. . . and she loves her little kitchen we got her. Most popular thing in her room!

Ty graduated in May with his bachelors and is still going to school to get his masters. He got a job at an accounting firm here in Cedar. We were so glad he got it, especially with the way jobs are right now. We definately lucked out. Hes enjoying it so far and is learning alot with it. He is as busy as ever with work and school but we just keep telling ourselves one more year and hopefully things will slow down a little when hes done with school. I am proud of him for keeping up with things as well as he is. He is working so hard and sacrificing alot of time away from home and from his kids, I know its going to pay off in the end. Life with me is NO different. Im just busy being a mom and finding projects at my house to do. We are looking forward to going to Cali in July and taking the kids to Disneyland and beach. It will be a much needed vacation for all of us. We havent been anywhere is so long and Nixon cant stop talking about it. Thats about it in the Pris' house hold. Im not promising another post anytime soon cause it more than likely wont happen. Until next time. . .

Easter, Relay For Life and More!

Its obviously been a while since my last post. Lots has gone on. Nothing to exciting, but things to share. First was Tys birthday on the 6th. That was way fun. I had planned a few weeks before to do a surprise party and I wasnt sure if I was going to pull it off. But it turned out to be a big success. Thanks to all who helped. I wasnt so much worried about keeping it a surprise but how I was going to get him out of the house so people could come to the house. It all worked out in the end and he was totally surprised and we had a lot of fun with our friends.
Next big to do was of course Easter. We ended up going to my grandmas trailer in Beaver Dam and just hanging out and relaxing. It was much needed for ty. Hes been so busy with work and school. his parents went with us and we had a good time. We also spent a day in vegas and bummed around there. A few days prior to Easter, we did a little thing with my side of the family. My parents did and easter egg hunt for the kids and we took them swimming the day before at the college pool. That was also a ton of fun. My little dolly loves the water and would prefer no one touch her while she does her thing in the pool. Of course she cant swim yet but we let her be as independent as we could.
This last friday I had the opportuntiy to do the Relay For Life walk at the college. I went with my mom and we did it for about two hours and stayed for the tribute they had for Coach Hod, Tom Cardon and another guy. Im so glad that I did it because I have never done anything like that before and it was awesome to see all the people who go. It was really cool especially because of these last eight months or so, and the people that have died. Cedar had a struggling 2008 when it came to this kind of stuff. I hope I can do it again next year cause I had a great time.
Well I think that about sums up whats been going on. Our life right now is kind of hectic with Ty being gone all the time and me trying to keep our kids and house in one piece and not to mention, my sanity! It will prob be another 4-5 weeks before you hear from me again. Hopefully sooner, but I cant make promises.
P.S. Sorry no pics, my camera is acting up. Maybe Next time!!

Finally, some fresh air.

This past weekend, my parents, my kids, my bro. Nate and his fam, we all went to Red Cliffs and Sand Hollow for the day. It was so nice to fianlly be outside in good weather. Its been nice off and on in Cedar but not like down south. We didnt even need jackets. We took the kids for a hike, ate lunch, let them play in the water, then we ended our day in Sand Hollow for some fishing. The kids had such a good time. My kids have been locked up in doors for so long, Im not quite sure they knew how to act at first. It will be good to get our backyard done this summer so they will have some freedom and not fill like convicts locked up inside. Quin wasnt sure about the water. I dont blame her, it was ice cold. She just played in the sand instead. It didnt seem to bother the older three. By the time we left, their fingers and feet were bright red. They had a good time though. Im hopinf we can do it more often. Any mom knows that getting to that point isnt so much fun and is what holds me back from doing more activities. Getting them dressed, packing a bag, finding them something to take to eat, getting them in and out of the car, etc... Its tiring just thinking about it. I like to think its worth it though once your out and doing your thing. You just have to have the main objective in the back of your mind to get you from point A to point Z without completely losing you mind. Anyways, we had a good time as I previously mentioned. Hope to do it more!
